Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on June 17, 2026.

We at Uplevel are working to make our website, www.uplevelca.org, accessible to people with disabilities.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Accessibility Adjustments on This Site
We are working to make this site accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, where reasonably possible.

This site has been designed to support accessibility for visitors using assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard navigation. As part of this effort, we have taken steps to:

-
Use Wix’s Accessibility Wizard to identify and address potential accessibility issues
-
Set the language of the site
-
Organize pages with a clear content order
-
Use clear heading structures across the site
-
Add alternative text to meaningful images
-
Choose color combinations with readability and contrast in mind
-
Reduce unnecessary motion or animation
-
Keep content simple, readable, and easy to navigate
-
Review forms, buttons, links, and navigation for clarity
Third-Party Content
Some pages on this website may include embedded content from third-party platforms, such as YouTube, Vimeo, social media platforms, maps, forms, or other external tools.

While Uplevel aims to choose and configure third-party content with accessibility in mind, we do not fully control the accessibility features or functionality of these external platforms. We encourage users who experience accessibility barriers with embedded third-party content to contact us so we can provide support or offer the information in an alternative format when reasonably possible.
Physical Accessibility
Uplevel does not currently operate a permanent public office or walk-in service location.

For future in-person events, workshops, meetings, or community activities, Uplevel will make reasonable efforts to select accessible locations and provide accessibility information when available. If you plan to attend an in-person Uplevel activity and have accessibility needs, please contact us in advance so we can work with you to provide reasonable support.
Requests, Issues, and Suggestions
If you find an accessibility issue on this website, or if you need assistance accessing any content, please contact us. We welcome feedback and will make reasonable efforts to address accessibility concerns or provide information in an alternative format when possible.
